Obituary

Paul Joseph Keller, 69, of Chaffee, Mo., died May 3, 2022, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.  Born in Chaffee, Mo., on April 16, 1953, the son of Joseph Franklin Keller and Lena Loretta Nanney Keller Harris.

On October 12, 1974, he and Diane Marie Jansen were married at St. John Catholic Church in Leopold, Mo.  She survives. 

He worked as a welder for many years, and was employed by Railway Xpress.  He was a race car mechanic and builder, and enjoyed racing stockcars in Benton, Pevely, and Farmington.  He was a member of St. John Catholic Church at Leopold.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years; two brothers:  John Keller and Jimmy (Judy) Keller, Sr., both of Delta, Mo.; and by two sisters:  Brenda (the late Mike Sr) McClard of Delta, and Linda (Greg) Pace of Cape Girardeau.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-father, Lonnie Harris; and an infant brother, Jerry Keller.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon on Monday at St. John Catholic Church in Leopold.  Father Joseph Kelley will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
