Linda Kay Roark, 63, of Glenallen, Mo., departed earthly life and entered her Heavenly home on September 13, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Born on September 2, 1958, in St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of Reverend Gene I and Dorothy Laverne (Barton) Robbins.
On January 13, 1974, she and Randy Roark, Sr. were joined in Holy Matrimony in Glenallen, Mo. They enjoyed 47 wonderful years of unending love together.
God was always first and foremost in her life. She was a founding member of Christian Family Fellowship Church in Grassy, and the members therein were truly a part of her family.
Linda lived a life of selflessness. She devoted her whole life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was immensely loved by every life that she touched. Linda was a fabulous cook – feeding her family and friends meals that were always made of love – but never a recipe.
She is survived by her husband, Randy; by four children: Randy (Sherry) Roark Jr., Matthew (Annie) Roark, Amanda Roark (Roger Vance), and Heather Roark (Chris Troutt); by three sisters: Barbara (Perry) Bennett, Susan (Joe) Eads, and Judy (Rick) Roark; and fourteen grandchildren: Hunter Massey, Hope Massey, Austin Roark, Cassie Roark, Nathan Massey, Nicholas Massey, Chloe Troutt, Willow Roark, Colton Roark, Ethan Troutt, Carly Troutt, Kylie Roark, Morgan Troutt., and Bryan Troutt.
Visitation will be at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo., on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bill McCormick will officiate. Burial will follow in Grassy Friendship Cemetery at Grassy.
