Obituary

Kevin Fred Wood, 60, of Sikeston, Missouri, passed away at his home on April 18, 2022. Kevin was born September 20, 1961 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He is the son of the late Paul Edward and Pauline Virginia (Counts) Wood.

Kevin was a truck driver by profession and a guitar playing, Elvis fan when he wasn’t working. He also enjoyed spending time with his lifelong friends.

Survivors include: his two brothers: Paul (Jeannie) Edward Wood Jr. of Florida, Bill (Patsy) D. Wood of Texas, his nieces and nephews: Bo, Terri, Kelly, Jodi, Paula, Renee, Eddie, Christa, Herbie and his lifelong friend: Jim Williams and his two children, Jimmy and Lance.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Ronnie Wood, two sisters: Brenda S. Wood Gilder and Donna C. Wood Gardner.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Fathers Arms Fellowship Hall in Scott City, Missouri with a Celebration of Life Luncheon to follow at the Eagles Club in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
