Dale Stanfill, 79, of Glen Allen, Missouri, died unexpectedly at his home on October 6, 2021.
Born in Patton, Missouri, on January 28, 1942, he was one of five children born to John Thomas Edward and Emma Louise Cook Stanfill.
On June 14, 1969, he and Brenda Lee Wright were wed. He and Brenda made a loving home together with three children: John, Patty and Phillip. Dale worked for Mid West Pallet Company for many years and retired from Atlas Trucking with 50 total years as an over-the-road trucker. He enjoyed Gator rides with his beagle, Lacey, and mowing the grass. The St. Louis Cardinals Baseball team was as important to listen to as Fox News. He attended the Glen Allen Methodist Church. Porch sitting and watching traffic go by were daily activities.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda; by his three children: John Stanfill, Patty Seabaugh, and Phillip Stanfill; by three grandchildren: Robert Seabaugh, Jennifer Stanfill, and Cody Seabaugh; and by eight great-grandchildren: Chloe Hughs, Jaeylnne Nash, Kennith Nash, Remington Seabaugh, Brantley Seabaugh, Jaxton Seabaugh, and Lillith and Mavis Overby; and Brenda’s sisters and their husbands: Kay and Steve Beuter and Sandy and Don Page.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Delmar, Dentford, and Duel Stanfill and a sister, Ruby Propst.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 11, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Keyarae will officiate. Burial will follow in the Glen Allen Cemetery.
